What CPU and PCIE slot do you have? 4.0 x16?
Also 120fps is good if you are running max graphics, but I doubt it. Depends on what you wnat as far as graphics goes. All Ultra? Going to need a 4.0 x16 PCIE slat and a moddern CPU.
I am at 1080p. I have been happy with this card.
Anything newer than that stuff will have no issue running DayZ.
Anyone having problems with modern hardware is a configuration issue or lack of PC expertise. The hardware and game are fine.
If you are really really really struggling to maintain good fps, you can just manually adjust your "Drawdistance" to 1200 meters, and "Object render distance" to 1100 meters.
This doesnt hinder your gameplay at all, as playermodels dont even render beyond 1000 meters.
It will be foggy.... but you can squeeze out good fps out of basicly any pc.
I bought my old computer when i was 13 years old (i am 27 now) and i manage to get 70+ Fps in big citys and around 100 everywhere else.
Aslong as you have a CPU and GPU that is from this century, you wont have any problems.
IF you are really struggling to get good fps, hit me up. There is like a million tricks you can do to boost your fps, while still maintaining 100% effectivness when it comes to pvp.
Like i said... i played this game for a full decade with a p00py AMD fx8350 CPU and a GTX970..... And i am a complete tryhard when it comes to pvp and such.... If i would die to a lag just a single time, i would have thrown my pc against the wall.
the only thing you NEED is a SSD. This game runs like donkeyass when you try to play it from a HDD.
Without V sync enabled my frame rate is much higher but then I have a high pitch whine in my head phones. I personally cannot tell the difference between 60 or 144 FPS anyway. I used to play this game on an old Dell with a slow dual core CPU and got frames of 10-20 and still enjoyed the game. :)
