We can join, looks like good ping like 40-50ms, then suddenly some of us get kicked for having above 300ms
Also, is it community servers too? They're all hosted in totally different areas which would indicate it's your connection, not the servers'.
I have pingplotted my routes to a number of DayZ Communitys ervers that are using OVH, and all of them route thru EU for DDOS. Kinda blows, but perhaps OVH has options for their US customers.
Try using Open Visual Traceroute to check whats happening with your ping to a specific server. It's free and super easy to understand.
It is NOT an issue with DayZ as far as I know, as I get great pings to servers local-sh to my geo location. Just not the OVH hosted servers.
