Lag every time I close inventory

I lag every single time I close my inventory. Sometimes it will only be for like half a second, sometimes it will freeze for 5 seconds. I uninstalled dayz sa, steam, and dzsa launcher and re downloaded them all on the same drive (ssd) and it is still happening

Try uninstalling the game and not reinstalling it that might work

afaik every time you open or close your inventory, the game accesses some Steam files.
thus you could try disabling Steam Cloud sync to see if that fixes the issue.

Yeah I have tried everything. It literally got me killed multiple times but nothing will fix it.

nonetheless I'm pretty sure it's more of a Steam- than a game issue.

You have not tried to answer my question above .. Is this new, just started, or has it been like this since you first installed, and what mods are you using? Do you use the Expansion mod at all?

ongoing problem. I've re installed it multiple times, on multiple different drives. I moved steam, dayz, and dzsa launcher all to the same drive as well.

i had the same issue on my old pc.... Its one of the reasons i upgraded.....
It is very likely related to your hardware... im sorry..
