you spawn in half starved and frozen, thus food and clothing are your top priorities in early game - don't bother for anything else.
this can mean that you'll have to stay in one village at the beginning (to gather supplies), but once your stats are in the white you're good to go for the real exploring and roam the map.
Getting warm from a fire until you see a plus symbol next to your temp indicator will allow you to ignore the temp outside until the buff either wears off or you find suitable clothing (high or best thermal in the clothings description)
You get bloated quicker so you can’t scoff your supplies and consider yourself ‘full’.. having a white apple with the tip missing means you are between 50-75% full.. full apple is 76-100%. To know you are max is if you eat and see the arrow go up, stop, down, stop,up etc.
The disease system was reworked and is far too much info to write here, there are vids on yt that go through it all. But don't drink dirty water or eat ‘unknown’ cans of food unless extremely desperate as you could probably end up dying anyway.
three parameters define your predisposition for disease, namely food, water and blood.
if you manage to hold two of them permanently full or better yet, maxed out, you'll reduce chances to get sick drastically, even if getting wet or cold.
unknown food cans offer the best food and water boost, dont eat open cans of food because the risk of food poisoning exists, drinking from half filled canteens you find on the ground can make you sick as well.
its the trashy servers like that multiplayer hc server need to eat drink every 5 minutes and god help if you become sick.
this doesn't work anymore, you have to look for food and water more frequently now, even in endgame.
the result is that it's harder to keep your nourishment levels permanently maxed out, which is a good change imo.
and usually the game doesn't leave you high and dry...eventually you'll find some food if you keep your eyes open and are patient enough.
Exactly. I've been playing on that server for a couple days as well. And 1st person Community servers are all Namalsk. I can't stand 3rd person because it's cheesy af
