Does anyone think the rain is worse since the 1.20 update. Getting sick of trying to dry out or laying low for ages.

Yea agreed. Not complaining about the rain. It just seems since the patch it has increased to the point where its not fun.

as of it raining more frequent than before the update, i would say no. it still seems the same to me. although if anything it does seem to rain heavier and harder more often than before.

In winter it rains more and in summer it rains less.

The server weather will have a time and date set to the server location....or as set by an admin.

Day lengths and temps can also be variable depending on server location, time, date.

Rain is the time to get in and out of mil zones for loot fast and with less risk of agro to the infected. You can walk very close to them in the rain.

I use PresetWeather on my servers and the rain isn't affected by 1.2 updates. Perhaps that helps a server owner. I will say 1.2 nerfed a ton of other things on our servers.

lol this game in vanilla blows. a zombie apocalypse game more focused on fishing and illness , it's gotten beyond ridiculous.

Rain is your friend, it masks movement and deadens sound..
Stops you from getting dead..

Rain is not that hard to deal with, mostly, you stay indoor and chill or run from house to house and loot, no big deal, also you can just camp it under a tree and you will never get wet if you move from tree to tree it can pretty much cover the rain for you but if you just run around out in the open and not are careful enough then the rain will kill you, since you get wet, starts to get cold, your hunger bar will goes down faster than it normally would, because you are in light blue/dark blue temp and now you suddenly needs to find food aswell and maybe you also get a cold fewer. Learning how to counter the rain so it will become your friend rather than your death. <3

Also you could try find a raincoat and such, might have low insulation, but in rain, it actually helps you compare to many other clothing. You can become the rain man in this game. Just put on clothing which helps agains rain and you will never have any issues with that again or try some of my other suggestions and see how it works for ya.

idk about raining more, but it rains heavier than it used to for sure.
