Unstable connection

Just bought Dayz and I'd love to play it, but I've been kicked from every server for "unstable connection." Never happens to me to me on any other game. I tried joining servers closer to me and it still happens.

dayz is very demanding system wise and connection wise so
make sure you are using a wired ethernet connection and not wfi

also if you are wired already try rebooting your modem and router and scanning for any virus or malware as those things can play havok on your connection stability

I found that that the low ping community servers seem to work best. Official severs I had some issues with connecting or staying connected. I'm on a 1 gig fiber line and hard wired .

I'm not wired so that's going to be an issue. I definitely don't have any viruses so that can't be the issue.

I'll try the community servers. Yesterday when this was happening I was on low ping official servers.

I'll try the community servers. Yesterday when this was happening I was on low ping official servers.

even good wifi has packet loss and is unstable so this will keep happening

wtf are you saying, i have the same issue, only on this game. nowhere else, my ping is 27 on the server i like to play on, and i have a 300mb down, and 60mb up connection, they dont need to come to my house to fix their issues on their side xD

we all do have the same issue though... its dayz official servers they just arent up to scratch.

I play on them all the time with my squad and we don’t have any issues

Yes for sure only prob is if the group gets too big everyone talking at the same time and talking about non game topics while others are in pvp situations

I’ve played with quite a few groups over the decades and all the talking and differences of opinions and tactics and life choices always ends up breaking up the group or at least dividing it

A lot of times it’s over whelming to even log in knowing you have to talk to so many people and you just end up playing alone to avoid the hassle
