Boiled meat = more calories + water?
Hello everyone, I never knew and even tried to boil meat in all my hours of DayZ I think, but now that I know...

I wanted to ask if it's better at any point if I have the possibility, to fill a cooking pot with water, and just boil the future meat I will have? Does it give you more calories than every other cooked meat?

I know for example that dried meat will last longer without rotting...

It's much better than just cooking it or drying it at this point, right?

I want to always boil it at this point, considering it's also gonna give me water (I can take it from rivers and lake no problem if boiled right?) and even because in most of my runs I always find a cooking pot.

So it's gonna be a win win for me, yes?

Thanks!

It is, most likely - haven't played in a while, starting to forget things.
Thanks for the correction!

I know that dried will last up to 4 days in you gear. Had one piece that was spoiled this morning when I played, the last one was still pristine.

I prefer boiling since you don't lose the fat pieces. The fat is like half the calories from one wolf, so it's huge.

Yeah I think boiling it it's better overall, if you don't want to stash it in your base and eat on the go!
