How long do clothes take to dry?
Title says it all. Swam to prison island, built a fire with 4 pieces of legit firewood. Fire burned out with me sitting practically on top of it the whole time and everything I was wearing still showed 'Drenched'. Do you have to put the clothing on the ground now?

I don't think it works at the moment, you used to be able to wring them out and then dry them by just standing next to a fire for a couple of minutes. There's a few reports about it on the tracker.

You need to put them in the fireplace slots I think at least that worked in 1.0

From what I recall, you can't wring out clothes with items in them but I also haven't been drenched since 1.0 dropped

It looks like there's no way to dry them, my backpack stayed drenched for 2 hours and I ended up just changing clothes when I found something dry. Definitely makes swimming to prison island even less worth the pay off.

I have a tactical helmet in my backpack which shows drenched, days after getting wet.

So with all that experience you never noticed that you could dry clothes at one point recently? :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

That wold be alot easier if there weren't actual spawn points which required you do swim to the mainland, if there wasn't rain to soak you, and if there wasn't an island with a prison and decent loot staring at me off the coast.
