Let's Discuss The Mosin
It seems that the Mosin has been nerfed. I haven't been able to play for long and I'm finally back to DayZ, and it seems that both the Bipod and the Long Range Scope has been removed for the Mosin.

Do you guys think that this is a good/bad happening, and do you wish that it will come back or not?

Well it does suck, but you can get a blaze, winchester, cz527, SPORTER! with a hunting scope and snipe with that. Mosin still takes the pu scope which i actually still like, mostly on the sks but it works on the mosin too. the bipod being removed from the mosin very much sucks tho.

There are indeed other options that I'm aware of. I just really loved to sit on the rooftops in the sunshine, drink some good old Nota-Cola and snipe some bandits.
In my opinion, to nerf/make the Mosin less "overpowered" (according to the devs), the spawn rate should just be decreased, and rarity should be increased. Simple fix, no need to ruin an awesome and fun rifle. It sucks, alot.

BUT... now you can do that with a sporter...

Is the sporter really that good? Did they buff it?

With the advance crafting and use of machinery, you may see the return of Long Range Scope? (Information in the link which this question was asked)

The parts got removed because they didnt actuerly fit on the mosin. Not because it was overpowered. The atlas bipod is designed to fit on a rail. Which the mosin doesnt have. Same fot he scope. The mosin doesnt have a mounting surface for it so it cant use them. There are plenty of other rifles you can snipe with including the SVD.

And who knows perhaps in the future we will see barrel clamp bipods which can fit on the mosin or other options.

The Blaze, cz527 are reliable and more common while the winchester is a little rarer but good also.

Yeah you do have a good point. I was just really attatched to the Mosin with a Long Range.
