Until there is a restart of all items, most of the cars are hidden somewhere. Clans, like ours, use the cars to make heli-spawn runs, lightning attacks on the bases, etc. So we need several in reserve.
the issue with cars is that they get stuck in the ground, either killing you, or troubling you to the point where you're better off leaving. they're extremely loud as well.
offroad hatchback is glitchy as ♥♥♥♥, when I found one in full repair (someone was too lazy to hide it or logged when i approached him). i found a sedan in disrepair on the edge of the map, so they can spawn legitimately anywhere along a road.
Despite what others are telling you, the cars are not that difficult to use.
1. They don't get stuck in ground. Sometimes there is desync between you and the car - there are several ways to deal with it, easiest way is to have a buddy drive the car a bit if it won't move for you.
2. Know where to find tires, batteries, fuel, and spark plugs, (bus will need a glow plug).
3. The offroader will roll over easily, just be careful on turns.
4. They only spawn at marked points, however abandoned vehicles are everywhere as players do not know how to drive or maintain them.
