Returning to the game after a not playing for a couple years. Currently what is better, the hatchet or the machete?

What's better for damage and versatility?

With Brass Knuckles, fists are very OP. But, the hatchet is better for firewood. ;-)

None of it is currently balanced, so I guess just find the most currently OP weapon, some say long sticks, some say combat knives, and as always fists are a fan favourite for obvious broken reasons.

They really need to add hand damage from punch attacks with bare hands.
