Mosin Nagant 7.62x54mmR Ammo Spawns

Anyone seen Mosin ammo spawn anywhere other than military spawns? The rifle itself seems to be fairly common at house/deer stand etc however haven't seen any ammo other than above in the 30 or so hours I've played sine 0.60 went Stable. Even emptying every Mosin I've seen hasn't netted any ammo.

The ammo is all over the place around military places. Atleast I find a lot.

My point was that as the Mosin is a civilian weapon it makes sense that ammo would spawn at civ and military spawns (even excluding it's use in the SVD). I was asking for evidence of the ammo spawning at civilian spawns.

Ah okay, thanks. I cant even remember the last time I saw that quickload strip! Perhaps I will see one soon :)

Quickload strips still spawn in civilian I think, but ammo is only at military locations.

I found like 3 packs of mosin ammo on top of the green mountain tower :) i was so happy, then i had to log in again and all my gear went up in smoke xp

Thanks guys, seems like .308 and B95 is the way to go at the moment. Both seem to spawn just as much as the Mosin without having to go to military to get the 7.62x54mmR.

where do u find a mosin gun though?

Mosin rounds in castle, junk cars. The guns are in nearly every kind of house and car trunks.

I found five rounds of 54 in a house... but that might've been somethign someone dropped making room.It was a populated server.
