Can't equip items.

Anyone else unable to equip items? Trying to drag a backpack over to inventory and it won't let me equip the item.

I had same problem. I had to UNequip the old item and then could get the new one. It seems later that I found a "sweet spot" that would let me swap items. but it seems difficult to keep finding that spot.

if you drag the new item over the one equiped then it will give the option to swap them over.

I had this problem on a server last night, it was lag.

My friend said the new one was on my back but for me it was on the ground. A quick relog fixed the problem.

Alright, I have this issue all the time, so read carefully. If it doesn't let you swap items, drag the desired item from "vicinity" into the empty space around the item in "vicinity". After you complete the previous step, try picking up the item, or re-logging. If vicinity doesn't work, try looking at it and just using the take function. (These don't always work. Lag/glitches can also be responsible for this issue too.)

Not only am I having this problem now, I'm rolled back from yesterday. I loggd in halfway across town and I didn't have my new rifle anymore that I actually had ammunition for.

But for me, it's not an issue with quickbar. I can't even manually drag anything into my hands. I've been sitting here for five minutes, and 'lag' isn't catching up =(

There is already various threads for your issue, and your issue has been posted on the feedback tracker hundred times in the last month. Also what they are talking about is on a version of the game 2 years ago on an ENTIRELY different game engine, the cause of the issue would not be the same.
Either post in one of the various recent threads, or create a new one, not necro a 2 year old thread. On many forums online you would be banned/warned for necroing like that.
