Yes, but animals can run away easily

I have seen reports of Infected chasing Cows all over the place.

What worries me though, is that Day Z is, apparently, going to have Predators in the next patch.

I am concerned that survivors are going to be attacked now, by packs of both Predators and Infected, at the same time.

Even if you have an AKM, that could create a messy situation to be in.

It will be a case of;

"Do Bears crap in the woods?".

"Maybe, maybe not, but survivors sure as ♥♥♥♥ do".

Because we don't know whats around the corner in later patches, and how the A.I. will react, specifically in the .61 patch.

If AI will attack each other on sight you won't have to worry about zombies and predators attacking you at the same time.

Depends on the predator AI, wolves are very cautious hunters, and bears usually won't go for people unless the bear is enraged somehow, or protecting their young.

But I guess we shall see.

That's exactly what I am expecting in the first itteration, to be honest.

Oh man but you could imagine how problematic an infected bear would be/

I'll be the first to go full Leonardo DiCaprio on mother bear.

Especially if all you have is a bow :P :).

I would expect to see a decline in the use of some weapons, such as the Bow, and Mosin, put it that way, and an increase in the use of some weapons like the AKM, AUG and M4.

I guess it would be cool tjat if animals killed by zombies would leave back an infected corpse.

You'd need to examine first if a player killed the animal or the zombies did. :D

Well corpse inspection used to be a part of the game, checking a body to get basic details about how they died. Hopefully that comes back as it was a cool mechanic. But probably half useless with the rate at which player bodies disappear.
