Best monitor for DayZ?

I just upgraded my 10 year old monitor to a 28" 4lk 60hz monitor. But im wondering if I should have gone a little smaller but faster 144hz monitor. What do you all think?

Hi Sarg ! I'm not sure you'll see the difference on this game. I'm not an expert but i think dayz is not optimized in a way that a 144hz monitor will make a huge difference but i can be wrong :)

144hz is just necessary if you play fps games on an above average to pro like lvl. CS for instance. For dayz 144hz isn't necessary at all. A big monitor is more important for this game.

To be honest, frequency of the monitor is more important than resolution. DayZ does have some problems with antialiasing as far as I see, so a monitor with good resolution would help as well. I doubt having 144FPS would give you a big advantage, but if I had the same choice, I'd go for higher refresh rate.

the best for dayz, if you have a good computer is :
144hz with 1440p ( is 2540*1440 ) call 3.5 K
because 4K use to much on computer and if u don't have nasa computer you stay at 60 FPS,
i prefer to have 120 fps for 1440p is already realy good

and took a 25 or 27 inch , is enought, more than it you need to be 1 meter from you screen, or you will damag your eyes
