Your lack of information is aggrovating. how can people know how to help you if you don't list anything.
What launcher do you use? If you use DZSA Launcher did you put the directory of the game so that the launcher can find the .exe? Did you try to even check if you did everything correct on your own?

I use the DZSA and it just cant find the dayz executable all i did was move steam and dayz to disk d because ive ran out of space in disk c

then you need to relocate in the settings of the DZSA launcher

You need to open up the DZSALauncher and go to settings (up on the top right). Once the settings are opened, you need to change the DayZ Standalone Path to where your game is located.

Thanks for actually explaining on how to fix the issue. Much appreciated. Can confirm that it fixed the issue for me.

i literally told him how to do it, just not in detail. @RylieAnya did. when you go into the options the first thing you literally see is "DayZ Standalone Path" which any person could figure out in matter of seconds and not only did i politely ask him not to necro posts made months ago now you are repeating his mistake with necroing a post made 1 year ago.

stop taking everything in like its meant to be hostile.
stop being a snowflake and get lost and stop wasting my time with your emotional thinking, this is a forum to ask about stuff or to look for people, not to cuddle each others feelings.
hope that was rude enough for you to make me look like a "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥". i hope i do because i dont want to have anything to do with you ever again in my life

the standalone path is where you installed dayz. you have to mark it yourself

I just got a new computer, setting up steam, dayz, standalone path is not new for me. after setting it all up, downloading the mods for the servers I play on. I launch and I get the error can not find the dayz executable. I browse the stand alone, everything is there except the exe. When I look in the file browser everything is there, i can launch normally, for what ever reason I can not launch through dzsa launcher. has anyone had this issue?

i dunno man. have a look at settings of the dzsa launcher to set the path of the exe. why not try the default launcher? why waste your new pc already with useless software?

After digging around, I figured it out. If you go to Steam>Right click on Dayz>properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity. once that is done, restart steam, restart dzsa launcher and your files will work. Thanks for the help

I found that one of the launchers created a file on another hard drive with the mod files (apart from my hard drive with the game)... It took a while to figure it out... maybe check this hasnt happened to you
