Offline server not showing up in LAN server list

So I have been following guides for about 3 hours so far and I can get the server running fine but it never shows up in the LAN section in the game, I just cant find the server. I tried on regular Dayz and Experimental and no go. The last guide I followed is https://write.corbpie.com/installing-and-setting-up-a-dayz-standalone-server-on-windows-server-2016-guide/ and I even have the firewall ports open even though I only plan on playing local. Can anyone help please?

127.0.0.1 is the default loopback IP of ANY computer. If you host a server on port X, you can be sure to find that server in 127.0.0.1:X.

So in your launcher parameters page, type in for the server "127.0.0.1" and for port the port you used, probably 2302. No quotes.



NOTE!!! IT IS 127, NOT 172

Start DayZ launcher.
Click on "Parameters", on the left.
Click on "All Parameters" tab.
Scroll down to find "Client".

Put those values into the relevant fields...

Server address: 127.0.0.1
Server Port: 2302
Server Password: Your server password.

Hit "PLAY" in the bottom left and you should connect to your server directly.
