Suspicious file found during install (Win64/Packed.VMProtect.J)

I tried to install Dayz and a Win64/Packed.VMProtect.J application found. ESET NOD32 deleted the file. The installation was paused. I continued it, the game is playable.

Anyone else encountered this?

Well you are right I think, could be false positive due to strict rules of antivirus. Since game is working without issues, problem solved. Thanks. :)

ESET deleted the same thing for me.

Anti-viruses often exerience false positives. It's because they use an algorithm to detect files which means that they will potentially detect harmless files as viruses.
