What are tents without dense forest?

Worth nothing.

In the old DayZ (talking about original chernarus here) you had dense forest up north. You could hide tents there easily. I've had tents on high pop servers that have never been found/looted by others for weeks. Okay, they could be spotted by people in helicopters, but the thing is, you could really hide them in that forrest.

hell, I even needed my GPS to find my own tents up there because else even I could not find them again. It all looked alike up there. And that's the idea of dense forest.

They added so much crap to the map that there is only some dense forest left in the west, north-east above zelenegorsk and some above the airfield.

I saw the big blue tents in DayZ standalone. Well good luck hiding that. (even if they where camo colour) Especially if we get 100 players per server. they will all try to hide them in that same area.

In game I'm a lone wolf. Especially as lone wold you need the extra storage. You can't just carry all your fishing gear, hunting gear, pots and pans, and gascooker and other crap with you all the time.

They should have saved the trees, instead of adding yet another big fps killing city. They should have saved the trees.

why use a tent when there is persitant items ...when fixed..........................my tent will be a bush or a tree...(unless it affects the pristine status by been on the floor)

Is some dense forests far north.. the ones near the coast aren't very dense.

Currently there are no thick areas of thickets to hide things like tents either in the west or north. I've looked for a good place but ATM there is none.
