Knife in military boots

I have a combat knife, and wearing pristine military boots.. how can I get my knife to go into my boots?? a simple drag and drop doesn't seem to do the trick...

Are you playing on the experimental or stable version? It should work, although I've yet to ever even find a combat knife.
Would you mind sharing where you found it (like what type of building)?

I think it works like boonie hats and fishing lures, drag the knife to the boot. I haven't found a combat knife yet though so i wouldn't know :(

Stable. and like I mentioned in my original txt.. I have tried drag and drop.. dragging the knife to the boot :( and it doesn't work

It may be only in the experimental right now bud. I cannot say for sure, but maybe try switching to the exp (I kept my stable character) and doing it.
I have tried attaching a fishing hook to a boonie hat, and it wouldn't work.
Maybe they aren't fully functioning yet.

Drag it up to your boot in the inventory. As long as there is a slot in boot it goes in

I have dragged it to my boot in the inventory. There is no "slot" that shows up for the knife to go into the boot, hence the drag and drop does not seem to work.

And I got the boots after the update (earlier today) soooo, I guess its safe to assume its only certain military boots?

Does the boot appear in the top of the inveotry UI, where non slotted items appear(melee weapons, sunglasses, hats, etc) or under that were slotted items appear? Because it won't work unless it's the latter.

Stupid question but I have to ask.

That may be the issue. As far as I know there are military, combat, and jungle boots that all are almost identical.
Maybe you need combat boots, not military (what is the dang difference haha).
I hope someone can shed more light on this.

Nope, it doesn't have that.. so it appears its only certain military boots then, I guess I'll keep swapping boots until I find that 1 boot that actually does it, that makes more sense :P

I'm wearing Pristine Brown military boots
