this will be your best bet in finding out.
So long as i get around mid 30s im fine with it
no you cant,
your cpu is a notebook APU ( CPU + GPU)
without a real graphic card and a seperate GPU and VRAM you cant start the game.
because there is no vram and your APU can only run dx10 programs.
since 0.60 update dayz is dx11.
any i5/i7 @ 4ghz baseclock
16 gb ram
ATI R7/R9 or gtx card 900+ will run the game fine.
on the low end i5 2,5 ghz and ati 7850 4 gb ram
some cheaper cards are suggested here:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/1/358415738204048259/
but keep in mind dx11 card is the thing you need to have.
now his cpu sounds more like a laptop made for multimedia, but he should still be able to handle this game, even if its integrated graphics.
He may not meet the recommended specs, but he is better than the minimum specs.
his APU doesn't only run dx10 programs.. it runs directx 12 aswell, so not sure where you got dx10 only.
since its a notebook, refering him to that page, only talks about upgrading your graphics card for a desktop computer, not for a notebook, for a notebook its alot different, and usually not worth it either.
http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=3285&gid2=864&compare=intel-hd-graphics-520-mobile-vs-intel-hd-graphics-4000-mobile
shows a decent comparison between his graphics and the minimum, where his falls short, it makes up in other areas. so Id say perhaps probably low.. maaaybe medium depending on what resolution.
Intel hd520 has dx12. You dont need a dedicated gpu or vram to open the game. It should work, but i woildnt expect it to run well, but why are you saying he only has dx10??
Do not post nonsense here, thanks.
Dont play pc if your pc is weak.
I used that site to check if I could run CS:GO and it said I could not run it but it turns out I can run it well.
its a site to determine if you got the correct kind of components to run a game, not how amazing or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you can run, it tries to make an estimated guess. but its the easiest way to find out if your in the ball park.
It doesn't care WHAT kind of GPU you truly have, as long as you have Pixel Shader, Vertex Shader, Dedicated Video RAM etc.
it wont take into acount your GPU's true performance.
and again, the site is for a ballpark of a yes or no based on simple things, since some people dont understand if their computer meets the minimum when looking at the requirements on the store page.
