Ssh68 helmet vs Ballistic Helmet
Ssh68 looks better but Ballistic Helmet seems to have more protection but they have the same description pretty much. Anyone know which is better?

Don't take my word for it, but I'd trust the Ballistic Helmet better.

The Ssh68 is an old steel helmet from the 1960s whereas the Ballistic Helmet is based on ACH or MICH helmet, which is more modern, and, I would assume, more protective.
I've survived 7.62x39mm shots to the head with that thing in the game. Can't say the same for the Ssh68, but then again I haven't tried it.

Ssh68 is kind of rarer though it seems and they're both made from aramid. I will have to do more research but will still probably wear Ssh68 because it looks better and has better camo.

my brother just got nailed in the haid by a sks last night and he got unconcious and it ruined his helmet but he dint lose any hp and didnt bleed he got up after a few mins..

they can stop a round if its at an angle, you can one shot someone with .22 in the face ... but if it hits the helmet it can be deflected it appears!!! hence more coverage ... but hey i like my Boonies!!
