Playing vanilla as different characters
Hello, I ran into a problem when choosing character profiles.
I messed around on vanilla as a man and decided to play with a new person for another character (in the game menu I changed it with an arrow, put the name of the Persian and started playing), I also messed up and now I have two active characters.
The ESSENCE OF THE PROBLEM is that for some reason I cannot adequately change the characters, even changing the servers. Usually one of these two is loaded and usually not the one you need. Apparently I'm doing something wrong. Tell me how to choose the right character and play for him. In the lobby, the character is one, but when uploaded to the server, it's already different.

Dayz character creation is weird.

You basically get 3 different characters, one for official 3rd person servers, one for first person official servers, and one for private servers - that is unique and gets saved to any/all private servers you go to.

If you change the look of the floating configurable character, that is how you will look... IF you kill yourself on your preferred server and restart as custom, NOT random.

I know, it makes no sense.

It's one character per Hive.
On official servers this means

All 1pp = 1 character
All 3pp = 1 character

On community servers most don't have a Hive so it's one character per server.

And what about Chernarus & Livonia ?

I mean : All 3pp = 1 character... but is this toon shared between Chernarus and Livonia ?

Yes it is shared between both maps on official.

yea, on official 3pp is shared no matter what 3pp server you are on, and 1pp is shared no matter what 1pp you are on.
