How the ♥♥♥♥ is there no controller support?

Was gonna buy this game again after having it on xbox but found out you don't have full support like on the xbox? How in the hell is that even a thing? They ported the game over to consoles but didn't add full support on pc?! lol WTF?

I can play this with my X One controller without any issues but who the hell buys this game for pc only to play it with controller?

Hand is messed up gives me arm cramps to play with m/k all the time I gotta use a controller a lot.

well, this is the pc version, the controller support is a bonus and works for everything except for managing the inventory.

well, this is the pc version, the controller support is a bonus and works for everything except for managing the inventory.

I guess that's not too bad would be swapping back and forth a lot though lol.

they should include controller support esp since the consoles have it...mayB u can bind something...i know w/the switch pro u can use it like a mouse on the desktop so mayB there is an option out there

because satisfying you and the 8 other people that would seriously use a controller in the pc version of the game probably isnt a priority or worth the effort for them to worry about.

Stop being an arse, Im pretty sure there are a lot of disabled gamer"s in this world I am guessing and people should have the right to choose which controller they want to use, if its supported to play with then you should be able to change the keys, EVERY OTHER GAME DOES, its purely laziness and that"s all.

you're right about the first part of your statement but as a matter of fact this game has no official controller support (look at the store page), so it's purely accommodation that it's working at all.
apart from that you can reconfigure buttons for the controller, it's just that you can't freebrowse with your cursor in the inventory because it would be clumsy with a controller.
thus they would have to implement the control system from consoles for that (dunno how it's done there, never played on console) which would possibly mess up things more than they are anyway

You're right it is pure laziness, on behalf of Bohemia. They implemented full controller and m/k support for consoles but PC gets kinda sorta half-assed controller support.

And BTW I did try to remap keys, the paddles on the elite controllers no longer work to bind keys to so that idea is off the table.

I'd rather just not play than have to play with a steam controller lol, those things are so hard to play with.

Use a program like Xpadder and then you can bind all your controller buttons to any keyboard key you want. I used to use it years ago. I think it was 10 dollars.
