in my centuries if computer fiddling, old dried out paste is often the culprit
enable this in the official launcher under parameters and just click the Play button (don't join any server in this mode).
"R[e]venge®-uk*
OK ... TURN OFF Steam Cloud Sync for the game, go to Documents, Delete the Dayz Folder, try again!
as for if Experimental works, copy contents of documents\Dayz Experimental into the documents\Dayz folder. Try again!
Good Luck!!"
If it's his thermals then it should happen with all his games, when the cpu gets hot. If it's only one game that is causing the issue then it's something else. I've no clue what that would be, though.
Do you have an SSD or a hard drive? It almost sounds like a corrupted spot on your HDD.
The problem is called BattleEye.
It was happening the same thing on another game, Lost Ark under BattleEye, on my computer when VirtualBox app was open (in my case a component of Bluestacks, Android system emulator).
It's probably not a hardware problem in your case. But software. Something is interfering.
Make sure if you do get to launcher you go to mods and unload all.
(Theyll re-auto load if you need them)
But if you have too many it gets tedious. Especially if you server hop and they have different mods.
If you changed the resolution out of your native monitors resolution.
e.g You have a 4k monitor but run 2160x1440.
The game will not launch properly.
The game resolution must be the same as your native screen resolution.
(Ignore the idiots saying to take your PC to a repair shop. It's not that serious...)
HOW do i fix this?
The only way it could get worse is if it stopped starting altogether - and your ignorant advice might actually lead to that conclusion,
have no idea why and how i can fix it :{
