If we are talking about realistic item wear then guns should never wear out. Especially the russian made ♥♥♥♥. I have russian milsurps and some are over 50 years old, see crates of corrosive chinese ammo and have never "worn out" or become unfireable.

I have seen AK's that went through 3 firing sessions of corrosive ammo lose their riflings if not cared for.
