But the servers I play on are on experimental. Stable are not as fun atm

Don't worry i have the same issue in experimental dayz hopefully there's a fix for this asap from the dev's... wish us luck ;)

they need to pust the updates as ONE, shut the whole game down and have everyone download.. its not like they dont have a kill switch for the servers.

I have the same problem too, i guess we will have to wait for the servers to update, probably tomorrow with a bit of luck :steambored:

Community Servers Seem to be running Stable build NOT experimental .... So if you play them use stable! All i can say from the fact my server has not yet updated.

It's confusing. The last days i've been playing on a server called ecperimental with the latest stable branch installed. Today it no longer works,

Did the dev's not say that there is no more experimental and stress branch? That they are only moving forward with the stable branch from now on until full release?

I switched to experimental (its a 26 mb dl) and the server i was on worked again so I guess there's a bit of a difference

Experimental and Stress Test Branches should not see much use for the rest of the year, and will be deprecated until we get to a point they are once again needed. Our goal right now is to focus on addressing issues you guys have been reporting, and on making DayZ fun for our core player base.

I'd like to bump this subject, since I can't play on my server anymore. It would be nice to know if there is a possibility to downgrade to an older version.

Opt out of experimental or update your server. Alternatively, you could opt out of updates via steam but I really don't suggest that.

remember quotes.

"Experimental and Stress Test Branches should not see much use..." does not mean no use

1. Right click Dayz in your library

2. Go down to properties

3. Select the beta Tab along the top of the pop up menu

4. Look at the Drop down Box and change it to read: NONE - Opt out of all beta programs

5. Restart steam and let it download the Stable Patch ( currently 1.0.150000 ).

Only those testing the coming patches should be participants in the Beta patches not every day players such as most here.
