How to fix ping problems?

First off i wanna say its not a router problem.

Usually the games i play 2k,LoL,WoW i have a 20-60 Ping..for some reason in DayZ a Server that is located in the EU shows me 60ms but if i play on it i get kicked within minutes for a high ping (200-700ms??)

I can play other Games where the server is located in the USA easily with 100-120ms...

Is there anything i can do to solve this problem?

The ping displayed in the launcher is not very reliable.

Always check the IP address of the server to see how near it is to you. This game is very touchy with it's network connection.

The game isn't super tolerant of jitter unfortunately. If your ping spikes for a millisecond, it will kick you.

dont use wifi and play on servers that are close to where you live

Wow that comment is just brainded af and you should know that..if i could play with a LAN Cable i would obviously do that

This is the silliest thing I've ever heard. Ever heard of the Nintendo Switch? Or the Steam Deck? Devices have been playing over wifi for a long time now. All modern ISP's give their customers wireless AC routers which are more than capable for playing games if within acceptable range.

maybe you need to stick to nintendo then because wifi has packet loss and that makes it difficult to play most games especially games like DayZ, you new players always have to learn the hard way

If you cant offer any help just leave this post please. Ive been playing online Games for more than 15 Years only over wifi and never had ping problems besides DayZ. Connecting to American Servers with 100 Ping,hungarian servers with 30 ms and german server with 10-20ms.

Yes i know DayZ needs a rly good connection wich i have. I havent had any problems for over 100hrs as u can see from my playtime too :)) This is smth new that happens to me.

So as i said before my comment got deleted.

My connection to a Server to London gives me 64mpbs 43mbps and a 30 Ping. So pretty much what i have when i connect to a Server that is located within the EU.

The Ping problem is something NEW wich i didnt had for over 100 hrs by playing over a Wifi connection.

We are less people in the house where i live now,the up and download is still the same like a year ago. So i dont rly have a clue what is making a problem rn if everything is the same

u got lucky i guess. your unstable connection (yes, wifi is unstable) effects other players on the server too. use a cable between your router and pc when playin dayz. theres nothing more u can do.

I cant,if i had the option to play with a LAN Cable i would do that :/
