Maybe it's like Dark Age of Camelot. They had multiple levels of currency: copper, silver, gold, platinum, mythril. Anyone who had enough money to have a Mythril was banned, cause that currency didn't exist. It was created for the sole purpose of catching hackers lol.

Do achievement only work at vanilla servers?

I asked cause the only two achievements I got was from playing in a vanilla server

I assumed so. Sadly achievements dont work with mods in many games.
But my doubt is still the same:

- They are working properly at vanilla servers, right?

In that case, they are not broken. They work.
I wonder if the mod community couldn't make a mod that bypass that and make achievements work on all mod servers. Some other games already do that.

Fire achievement seems twitchy. I have lit fires all three methods in Vanilla and nothing. Or does it have to be outdoor fires?

ive tried all 3 methods in fire barrels, campfires, and chimneys and still havent gotten it. Might just be a little bit finicky

Then those achievements must have recently come to steam, cause I've played countless vanilla servers since 2018, and I don't have a single achievement. I'll try it again tho to be sure.

Yes, you are correct. Dayz Achievments are pretty new. Have no idea how much new they are. Not more than 2 years, for sure. I play Dayz since Alpha, Im pretty sure that I already did all the achievements before they even exist. Have to do them all over again. No biggy.

Cant be sure about them been broken mate. (but its possible lol) Yesterday I unlock 2 Dayz achievements.
I made sure I didnt use any modded launcher and didnt started the game with no mods active.

Cant say nothing about this yet. Im missing a flare to try it. I suspect that you need to do all 3 in the same session, life or even in the same fireplace? I dunno I will try.
