Whats stronger? CR-527 or M70 Tundra?

m70. 7.62x51mm has more mass and energy than 7.62x39mm

the tundra for sure. .308 is the strongest caliber in the game.

When I melee with those two rifles the Tundra seems to beat the CR-527. But then I'm a Toyota fanboy.

That's not even a comparison. In DayZ, damage is calculated by the bullet, not the rifle, regardless of what length the barrel is etc.
So a more valid comparison would be 7.62x54R vs 7.62x51.

To answer your question, in DayZ damage meters show the M70 about twice as powerful as the CR-527. They both use Hunting Scopes so your choice should always be M70 unless you have plenty of ammo for the other and none for the M70.
