Again, once you understand the mechanics it really is a non-issue.
Dude said how he was watching someone else play DayZ before he actually installed it.
In his comment he says that he was confused by the lack of map and how the game made him waste time on trying to make a bow when it was actually not in the game.
Or how he was getting screwed over by bugs and different problems, including one the developers were 'working on' for 7 months.
His post was civil and he explained what he thought was wrong with the game, and what did he get in response?
People only reading his comment for 5 seconds and then replying "Lol ur just a nub who didn't even try to learn the game lmao go away"
If you think you are helping the game by bullying new players who have problems then you are very, very, VERY wrong.
its more quality of life than a real problem. Why reinvent the wheel?
Why not, why be like everyone else? It is what the developers chose to do. You can choose to either play or not play. Life is full of choices, but you should choose wisely.
You should remember that the best way to make something better is to give it some negative criticism, WHEN it is due. I for one think that Bohemia Interactive made really bad decision to push this buggy mess of a incomplete game out as a 1.0 version, it is misinformation.
To expect 1.0 release to contain every major feature that your software has been marketed having, is just plain common sense.
I, for one, can not accept this BS from major game company to destroy the reputation of the project just for quick cashout on christmas sales, because there is no reason to do this now, this was the one thing that they should have always avoided, to sell product as "Finished" when everybody knows that it is not that.
Now somebody reads steam storepage and learns that DayZ has finally entered 1.0 stage, and is to be considered somewhat final version. And then they see in streams or gameplay footage that the game is utter garbage compared to what is expected, and then they might just forget buying the game, maybe even forever.
When they bring us the true final release version, only then I can really judge and recommend the game if I like it, but as of now, you simply cant justify this sort of behaviour from Bohemia Interactive, this is what game industry should always avoid.
There is just no pleasing kids these days and they surely do not understand game development. Most are entitled and want everything now.
BI didn't help themselves saying 1.0 was release.. they should have said 1.0 is beta and in a stable, buildable condition
I stopped reading when he said he was upset about pressing "M" and no map popped up. LOL
