I got one.... had it like 2 hours now.

Charcoal pills needed, and possibly antibiotics.

You need Charcoal Tablets and Tetracycline Pills, try to not over eat while sick as you will just puke it up and dehydrate yourself.

How are people getting sick? I've been eating raw meat, just drank a tincture of alcohol and have ran around naked.... what more do I need to do to get sick?

My character just appeared with that symbol in the new update from the first time in. I took antibiotics and charcoal tabs and the symbol stills there, no puking no sneezing could it be bugged or its the way it is now?

Currently you only can only randomly puke after drinking or eating something while having the bacteria symbol. Sometimes it goes away on its own, in other cases you need Tetracycline Pills.

I had this exact issue. It took around 8 hours to wait out. Expect it to be a long haul if you acquired this from the new patch while logging in. Don't eat or drink too much, just enough to be satiated and hydrated, otherwise you can induce vomiting.

Yeah I acquired it that way I just hope it will not cause death while I wait.
