Report a translation problem
look in the mod or the server description how to change channels.
iirc in the official version you could change channels with the , and . keys but I dunno if that's still applicable.
people should hear you over voice nonetheless, you can adjust the volume of the mic with the up and down arrow keys.
keep in mind that people also won't hear you if you wear a motorbike helmet.
if nothing works you can always try and delete your DayZ folder under 'my documents' - it will be rewritten at next start.
and last but not least check your sound-settings under windows.
