VR support

Its 2022... guys... Please PLEASE add BASIC VR headset support. Even just a basic implementation for looking around like the Alien Isolation "Muthr" mod has - but built into the game - e.g. no hand motion controllers (so you can use PC keyboard / mouse / gamepad) and make BattleEye ignore it obviously! Looking around with a mouse or gamepad thumbstick seems so last century now ;)

VR is kinda cool and all, But I hope your keyboard is in braille..
Have had a headset for a few years now, don't even use it in games with kbd/mouse anymore due to the fact ya cant see the keyboard...

Make it AR, that would be so much better...

A lot of the game works with an Xbox gamepad... you could also use a Tartarus gamepad or something similar too for anything not bound on the gamepad.

I'd recommend green hell vr to scratch your itch, beautiful forests and motion tracking, combined object physics makes the game feel like it was built for vr.

VR would be pretty nuts, I'd sink an even more unhealthy amount of time into the game.. The only issue I see, at least on community maps, would be the performance and fps dips. Even with beefy cards, the framerate on Deer Ilse, Banov and Esseker for example would tank a lot in many areas.. playing VR with low or fluctuating frames could be quite uncomfortable, especially if you are already prone to motion sickness and all that.. But maybe down the road if proper VR does ever happen, the average gpu will be able to handle all areas at a stable framerate.
