So far in the past 3 days of downloading I've only manage to survive at most 7 hours any tips on how not to be killed everytime by someone I've yet to try an kill anyone I think the fun is just surviving but seems I have to switch to pvp style and kill on site. I just wanna be friends lol people just want to kill you 😅

You could try a pve server that has pvp zones. That way you choose when you wanna pvp.

I haven't got many hours so my opinion/ideas may change but to avoid high blood pressure & smashed keyboards I try & be all zen about this game. You WILL lose all your goodies, everything is transient. See that base that you think is going to be a safe place, well thats true right up until its not lol. See that character you've kept alive for ages? Well they WILL have their head blown off or be consumed by crazed cannibal bandits & although you might push back that event through guile & luck your number IS coming make no mistake! Approaching it this way with a devil may care attitude is THE way!

It's been a while since I played, but as I recall trying to play DayZ without being killed by a random person for no reason or gain is like trying to swim across the Atlantic without getting wet.

I have the basics down but I want to tap into the farming and building of a community I think this game has much more potential than kos and pvp. Everyone that I run into is all about militarization.. don't get me wrong I understand the reasons behind it. Maybe there's a server like what I'm trying to say if not I'll look into how to create a server that will commit to this idea.

Lol I ate the guts and it gave me the bubble guts had to raid a hospital I'm at 3 confirmed kills now.

This is why the game is like this now. (not because of you) But a bunch of idiots that kill freshies just because they can, and because they can not kill geared people.

So the freshie is now on guard 24/7 and KOS before they are KOS'd. rinse and repeat... We are years into this process and it will only getworse as new players come in.

its the snowball effect. It is not like this is original or unique to Dayz. as long as there is online MP games. there will be a-holes that ruin it for everyone.

Exactly my thought as I said previously this game has way more potential than kos. You can rebuild tractors make farm's hell you could probably secure an entire town with enough people just working together. People are so custom to battle royale filth that they forgot how to enjoy other aspects of games. Don't get me wrong I met a new player also today gave him some food and made him a fire cuz he was soaked from the rain. Only reason I killed the 3 today was only because they had guns in hand and I'm not risking my loot anymore.

I had a guy kept repeating "hello" & saying nothing else even though I responded 4 times, after the fourth I went silent then when he appeared I gave him both barrels! Shotguns really do have a shotgunny feel to them in this game, love them!

You were prob. right to do so,. in my exp. these people are trolls. With a small chance they do not speak eng. and that is one of the only words they know. But most generally they trolling you.
