If anyone wants to explore Namalsk with "ease", feel free to join my server. I barely play on it, granted I barely play DayZ to begin with, but it's nice to have it anyways.

It's called Namalsk 2033 (You can find it via DayZ Launcher).

It has starting loot, some other features but also has way more zombies. But with starting loot it's still fun to run around and survive.

I'm coming back to PC DayZ after years away and I'm thinking about trying out Deer Isle for a new map. I have only played Cherno and Livonia so would Deer Isle be the best choice to try?

Yes! I've been playing deerisle as of recently (end of december) and I love it! I loved it so much that I ended up setting up my own server. That being said if you'd like to check it out, add me, i'll send you the info!

Chenarus used to way more fun in dayz mod but in standalone its just hella boring with the lack of vehicles and choppers and planes.also the map is a complete ghost town.i dont know how many times i ram north and i never saw anyone even at the airfields.

Namalsk...is cool because you have alot of encounters but that map is hella annoying with the kos mentality especially when you got fully geared people who are sniping fresh spawns all the time.weather is kind of annoying at times but i play on hardcore servers so that plays a part.

Elderwoodz... seemed cool but it died out

Deer isle is not a bad of a map

I never bought livonia..so i never played it.

Namalask is by far my favorite map although I have to admit I haven't played many maps. Namalsk is harsh and unforgiven but very atmospheric. I love the story line and lore. There's actually something to do.
