Surge of hackers!!

this week me and my friends run ruined by hackers 3 times (100% sure it was very obvious), on 3 different official servers. Its literally unplayable on official servers, do you guys experience the same bs? Also, hackers love De servers i suppose, stay away !!!
Please dont comment like "git gut, its probably a better player, youre a noob" .
Kids we've been playing this since arma 2. If we think its a hacker believe us, it was...

There's really no way that you could possibly know if someone who kills you is a hacker or not. The fact that you would even insist to have this knowledge would suggest that you're not even attempting to have an informed view on this subject.

Fact of the matter is that many of us are server admins and we see tons of hackers on a daily basis. Your "I don't think I've ever been killed by a hacker" anecdote is 100% useless.

Server admins are only on community servers...aka the places that all the banned onn Official have left to play on .

As I wrote earlier. I can think of maybe 1 suspicious death in my 3k hours of play so I´ll stick to official where I can find full pop servers that are for eveyeone.

You are mistaken. Anyone who is banned on Official via BattleEye/Steam is not able to join a Community server by Default. Only if the Community Server is configured to allow hackers, and I really doubt many have that setting enabled.

It's 2023, why are we still not able to stop cheaters

We logged on and were raided. Found our cars in the same town in a different barn and raid him back, to find every gun and 30+ round of 40mm/claymores. We steal back what we had and drive away in 2 seperate cars and 10 min later we both die at the same time while driving down a road a good 300 meters apart from each other. This was on a battleeye enabled server as well, how is this not being detected man. Server: US NY-5137

Oh, I see the problem. Youre playing on public servers... Play on vanilla private servers where the admin actually monitor this stuff and have extensive ban lists..... and you get vanilla game. There are good vanilla days community servers, original dayz, spaggies, struggle bus sucks avoid that one

It doesnt get detected because of how much info is client side vs server side. Makes anything client side vulnerable to hacking.

Yeah we'll end up doing that if it becomes a problem, we just like low-medium pop vanilla servers. All the community ones are always full

They died... Usually that is enough.
Your not allowed to kill people in DayZ you are supposed
to let these "gaming gurus" kill you without a fight so
they can feel heroic.
Anything else is just cheating...

The ammount of people, thinking one can not spot a obvious death by a cheater.... is wayy to high in this forum.
When both players didnt hear any shots, and both died instant... its probably a cheater. The chances of both players dying in the exact same second, so that noone hears any shot, is practically zero.

You don't know the game very well now do you?
If you did you would know, you don't hear the shot that kills you.
Secondly, Buildings and terrain can mask the sound of a long ranged
or small calibre weapon.
Maybe they were shot with that .22 pistol that you get ingame,
that's pretty quiet. Also, You wont hear a long ranged shot in a
vehicle with the doors shut either...
The weapon used may have been fitted with a supressor...
But no... It MUST be a cheaters.... Right?
FYI I have with my team taken down other teams with well co-ordinated
attacks... It is not common but it does happen.

The reason cheaters are so hard to stop is threads like this
and Mega chad's that can't admit they were beaten by better
players generate so many false positives makes it very hard
to detect the ACTUAL cheats.
So, carry on filling the forums with false silly complaints that
for the most part are clearly salty, sour grapes...

I killed a guy & his girlfriend, they were in their truck, I just jumped in front of the truck & unloaded an entire magazine on them.
I have had the opportunity to have them on Discord & exchanging about that experience : they did not see nothing & neither heared nothing.
They just experimented the black screen, both, with "you're dead".

On the nearly same level, with a friend we spotted a couple of guys who tried to raid a base we wanted also to raid.
We waited for them to destroy the wall for us.
We had chosen our target : the left one for me, the right guy for my buddy.
Exactly at the moment they destroyed the wall, they died : "pok pok". Done.

Do you really think they heard something? Nope.
Two proper headshots at more than 300m.

For your own personnal culture & knowledge : the sound goes slower than the bullet.
That's why, if the killer doesn't miss his target, you will notice nothing, just dying.
The game is transcrypting this element rightfully.

That's not cheating.
Only for weak egos.

When 2 people insta die in 2 seperate moving vehicles, multiple hundreds of meters away from eachother, the chances of it being a squad that made coordinated shots is close to zero. One would almost always get killed first. But thats not what happened here.

Both flapped over dead, while going at highspeed in 2 seperate vehicles multiple hundred meters away from eachother...... and your tying to convince me that they might be shot from some squad with mk2 pistols XDDDD

People here think that everyon is a complete dumbo when it comes to dayz. Been playing nothing but dayz since 2011. And the chances of both people dying in the exact same second, without any tell is practically zero. Remember.... its not 2 peopel standing in a pine tree! They were driving at highspeed in cars..... HUNDREDS OF METERS AWAY FROM EACHOTHER.

But you do you... maybe it was some "snipersquad with those .22 pistols, camping a road on a empty server"

With over 20k+ hours of dayz experience, i can confidentally say that this was with a 99,9% chance a cheater!

And now tell me if you think this is remotely possible on two moving cars, that are hundreds of meters away! Can you say: okey i take this first one, and you shoot at the other car that is 400 meters behind him?
Do you realize that in dayz your rarely even have roads that stay straight for 300 or 400 meters? mostly they were doing a slight turn, or down/uphill of some sort!

How high are the chances that you both hit the perfect shot?

And now tell me how high the chances are.... that it was indeed a hacker on official DayZ.




On stationary targets, its all gucci! Been there done that! You can take out teams, without them hearing anything.

but on 2 moving cars, this is HELLA difficult to execute right, and for some odd reason this "team" already knew that a car was coming..... on a server that has under 10 people on it most of the time..... why were they camping there? them camping this exact road is already a HUUUUUUGE "coincidence".
Lets give it the benefit of the doubt and say okay... there was 2 peopel camping there.

The chance of two people hitting the perfect shots,on two seperate Cars hundreds of meters apart, is practically zero, even with SVD´s. Someone would most likely miss and need a second shot. And one of the two would have heard that.

This right there is a textbook example of the instadeath script, that is widespread in the hackercommunity. You cant be this blind xD

fact 1: this is a quite popular multiplayer game, of course there are cheaters. the year 2023 wont suddenly change that.
fact 2: official servers have no moderation

minimize the chances of running into cheaters by playing on community servers with active admins and a discord to report "things".
