LIVONIA-survival-VANILLA server looking for player to populate

I have a server for 1 year (so NO wipes), because ive tried many times on an official, but people always KOS...so started my own.

time to explore all of Livonia now and staying alive :-)

things ive changed/added:
-more food/drinks (x2)
-more ammo and ammoboxes (ammo is always 90% full)
-more weapons(x2) rare ones even more
-weapons spawn in with at least a full magazine (so instant action)
-no rain
-lots of wildlife and less town wildlife
-build everywhere (even underwater if you can hold ure breath long enough)
-added covered trucks with building supplies and you can drive them instantly

only 1 rule: NO Kill On Sight, try to interact first

its a powerfull server, now only a 10 slot because im alone...but rdy to add more if more join

Many weapons, Guns with mags for quick action?
Respectfully, Why do you need "quick action" If KOS is banned?
If people have to walk up and shake hands first you can just use a knife or an axe.
If you want to make killing harder, remove automatic weapons and just leave the
bolt guns with limited capacity.

No offence, but thats no "survival" server in my opinion.
More from everything doesnt fit for survival gameplay cuz with vanilla settings there is already too much from everything.

Loot+ or PewPew could fit. :)

To each there own and good on ya, but this is exactly the opposite I would want.

For true survival the basics would be,
-more food/drinks (x2) -Less food drinks by x2-4

-more ammo and ammoboxes (ammo is always 90% full) -WAAAY less ammo and when you find its one or 2 rounds.

-more weapons(x2) rare ones even more -Less weapons esp. automatics. small pistols and shotguns fine. (
-weapons spawn in with at least a full magazine (so instant action) _Very rare to get a mag in a weapon, and it would be empty.

-no rain - no longer dayz and automatically takes the term survival out of play.

-lots of wildlife and less town wildlife - Livonia (vanilla) actually has to much wild life IMO.

-build everywhere (even underwater if you can hold ure breath long enough) -I like building and dont really care one way or another about this one. I would play on a server I liked whether it had this or not.

-added covered trucks with building supplies and you can drive them instantly -again your taking to much f the game away. You want to encourage people to have to go find things. it prolongs endgame.

I am not trying to crap on yeah, everyone should play the way they want. But to call your project survival is a huge stretch.

...since most of us noobs always die in officials with mostly a handgun in hands with 2 bullets in it by people with full gear, i wanted a server where u can explore ALL of livonia and dont get killed by someone 2km away...
the weapons and food/drinks x2 are there to maximize the fun factor, dont search for 8 hours to find a gun anymore
the bulding supplies trucks are there to drive the map and if u find a spot: build ure base there with the supplies (u still need to chop down logs etc...)
if people on officials stop kos, maybe more will join there insted of setting there own servers :-)

Nothing wrong with your needs and likings :-), but calling it "survival" simple doesnt fit. "newb friendly" or something like this should fit much better for your server concept, players would easier understand whats going on on the server. Only my opinion..

well....since you have to stay alive vs zombies and lots of wildlife, dont get sick, eat/drink...and if u die, u have to restart...in my opinion, thats a survival game :-)
made easier yes, but still a survival :-)

"Survival" is usually used for servers where survival is a lot harder than in vanilla.
Dont get me wrong, do whatever you want - but players can and will be easily fooled by the term survival if used for a server much easier than vanilla. No offence.

love my setup, only thing is missing is more players lol, because dayz and the pvp factor is still a nice thing ofc, but again, looking to gear up for ages and then get killed by someone because i said "hi" first was getting on my nerves.. played for several hundred hours on officals, never got the change to explore all (cherno im bored of)
if ure solo and want a base on official, i never got past a half finished small base, its a pain.
this is still WIP, but i woulnd succeeded this on an official :-)

What time zone are you in? Your'e in Europe I guess? How many people are playing on your server, 10?

im from belgium, for now 10 slot yes, hope to upgrade to 20..but need to populate it then :-)
just give it a go and be amazed by the fun survival :-)
the trucks can be found, if you look on this map: https://dayz.xam.nu/livonia there in green, its not that theres one on the map that it spawned ingame , not all 40 trucks are spawning ofc

if most people prefer a real survival, i can do that...will take me a day to alter the xml files (i dont use dayztools)
there will be no wipe, so i would suggest build a base now and gather what u can because if people want a real survival, u will have to hunt for food because towns will be flooded by zombies and most townwildlife is eaten by them so scavenge what u can in towns/military and hunt for food, but be carefull because all wildlife is retreated to the woods, no auto rifles, only pistols(no attachements) and some long/med ranged guns, ammo will be vanilla (only the ones needed ofc) and the rain will return (i dont like it, but...) trucks will be still in it, but very rare to find (maybe 10 of em in total)
just give a shout what u all prefer

I dont think any of us want u to change how you wanna play, or even cater to us. We are only suggesting you play with your server. You are obviously a newer player and the whole reason you are building your own is to make it your way.

Learning the game is the hardest part of this game. The sickness, rain, keeping food/drink. If you made it true survival you would hate it. Livonia is known as a survival server, and if you run livonia with the word survival in it, then people are gonna think the wrong thing and get pissy.

Make your server and make it how you want it. we are not judging ya, (even tho it may seem that way) The whole point is to have fun.

Yeah, nobody is judging you. Important is the fun which you have with the game.
I also think you really wouldnt like a harder survival server at the moment.

My posts were only a suggestion to remove the "survival" from your servername - because it can/will easily fool other players.
