Randomly getting a headshot in a closed room being alone (Cheater?!)

It happended to me a few weeks back: I was standing in a small room with just window. Then out of nowhere i just got a headshot. Recorded it with shawdow play. Rewatched it. Could not see any player outside the window. I wasnt even standing in front of it, nor was it possible to see me through. Got pissed, closed Dayz and not played it until today.

Today i was standing inside a room again, on a low populated server and just got shot again, recorded it and what a surprise: no player visible anywhere. I respawnded in the middle of nowhere and instantly got a headshot again... Then i respawned at the exact same location, managed to get back to Brena / Livonia in time and found my dead body untouched / not looted at all.

So who the ♥♥♥♥ is such a low-life and randomly kills players with some stupid cheats??

Or is it just one these exotic bugs dayz has so many of?

cheaters exist, preferably on full pop 3pp Cherno servers - choose another one.
(or play community servers, there's also less chance of running into them)

I see there is nothing changes since I played this game couple years ago.

Pretty much every house and most sheds have a window.
I can't count the amount of players i have shot at through windows
both from inside and out. They always seem suprised..
The game is about finding and killing the players on your server
for the most part, They are not going to warn you either,
just shoot you in the head.
I was capped the outher night in a house, through a window
by a freshie with a glock and 5 rounds... Happens
in the PvP arena. I was "full geared" as well ha ha ha...

Are u hearing a shot or is it just saying dead?

There is a 'Kill Player' cheat, so that is generally what is happening when you just suddenly die, but what cheaters are starting to do to mask it is shoot at u then hit the 'Kill Player'.

Bla bla.. small gaps bla bla.... What you are describing is 1 % from the amount of cases when people being in the completely closed area die from cheaters. Official servers are not playable at all because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and Bohemia doesn't care.

No matter what the fan boys say to cover this problem up, you got most likely got killed by a cheater. Being the devs just like to cover it up by having any post like this deleted, your best bet is to play on a community server.

If you're on public servers then you will always get hackers/cheats using "cheat software" that is openly sold on the internet. The software enables you to see where every player is on the server and enables you to shoot them from wherever you are and also use aimbot to shoot anyone through walls, it also shows where every item of loot is on the server, be it above ground or buried stashes, these lame infants can't play the game like the rest of us, as in, enjoy the survival and tactical elements of the game and the challenge of actually surviving each update Bohemia throw at us.

You have to ask yourself did somebody do something really bad to them in game and they just can't let it go, therefore every DayZ player must be punished for the actions of a few? Who knows? Only the cheats know and basically you'll never find out as they're antisocial.

Yeah its like people cant read or just read the headline and go for it. I guess it was a cheater but i just wanted to know if other people already had these situations.
I also took a stupid bug in consideration, but seems like i just got killed by a sad cheater :D

Just died an saw blood trails coming out of my head, no shot, no steps, nothing. When the bloodtrails in DayZ are accurate, it makes even less sense, because then i would have been shot straight through the wall, which is not possible in DayZ.

you can shoot through walls, depending on the material and the caliber - the bullet will just lose a lot of it's energy.
