DayZ
Head Bob
I took a break from Dayz a while ago because the head bob option was removed, thus making the game unplayable to me as I get motion sick. The other day I installed Dayz again in hopes that the option to turn it off was back only to find out that I still cant play my favorite game.

Please, Please, Please make it so we can turn off head bob, Many others as well as myself can not play this game with it on. It sucks that I fell in love with this game when we could turn it off, just for it to be removed, making it so I can no longer play it.

Please allow Head bob to be turned off.

did you try setting head bob manually to 0 in your DayZ folder under documents?

You can have a look in your documents/dayz/usernamesettings.dayzprofile

headBob=0;

If it were that easy, but alas, that does not work.

I thought I had written this for a moment. Same thing here, I love DayZ but without the option to turn off head bob I get very ill playing since I have vertigo. No one should be on the floor ill from a game. It would be one thing if you never had the option but many people bought it before the option was removed.

Wow, I'm surprised. It's a very necessary feature that players should be able to control. Motion blur, fov slider, depth of field, head bob. That's lame!

you can control it by editing the file with notepad or play first person

People have reported it doesn't work. I have yet to try.

It's not a new concept. You're vision is artificially altered with hyper realistic and accelerated movement, tricking or confusing your mind as your normal vision and body movement is not in sync. Peoples' heads begin to spin or eyes tire out, causing nausea, vertigo, etc. It's more common with VR, but nonetheless very common. Some people are more sensitive and others adjust after a short period. The illusion of something can be just as powerful as the real thing.
