How to fix PBO and World Script Errors (WITHOUT REINSTALLING!)
Hello, I finally found out if you are getting this error, it means your dayz is corrupted or a mod is missing because it doesn't recognize the game as installed requiring a complete reinstall of the game and unsubscribing of all mods.

Today I will show you how to fix your dayz without having to reinstall the game completely.

1. You will have to replace your DayZ_x64 with a new, uncorrupted one.
2. You will have to replace your installscript.vbf with a new, uncorrupted one.

To do this, I have put my own completely safe uncorrupted DayZ files below to help those who don't want to completely reinstall 7gb-30gb of data just to join a single server!

Download Link:
https://cdn-31.anonfiles.com/p6p7nf22qd/bdbd3b53-1613939198/DayZ_x64.zip

How to replace:
1. Unzip DayZ_x64 file you downloaded
2. Open unzipped folder, drag the files included into your DayZ install directory
3. Restart Steam
4. Put a shortcut to DayZ_x64 on your desktop
5. Launch through DayZ_x64, it will load.
6. After the game launches you will no longer have to use DayZ_x64 to launch.
7. Play on steam and enjoy!

LMFAO! So wrong.

The pbo error comes when there is a difference between the server and client! Usually the server updates a mod, and the client side gets the pbo error. All you need to do is close everything down and restart the launcher. Or, unsub from the mod causing the pbo and resub! All this crap about corrupt files is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Remember folks, be very cautious of running executables from random people on the internet.
It's best use the official sources instead. Like in this case, delete your game exe and verify local files with Steam to redownload a clean copy.
