You know scopes have zeroing capability right? If you want to use PgUp/PgDn I’d recommend rebinding the keys. If it still doesn’t work, it is likely you won’t have zeroing button on the modded weapons, and as such will have to do it the old fashioned way.
Plus I don’t think I have ever actually used the PgUP/PgDN zeroing. I’ve always just left it at 50/100/200 and just used the scope to zero and the distance markers to take the shot

If you’re using modded weapons/scopes it’s more of a matter of determining if it even allows the built in zeroing.
I seem to recall most of them did, as I was using an m14 dmr and was able to use Ctrl +mouse wheel up (my key bind) to zero it to 600, but I don’t think I’ve ever been able to zero the barrets above 200.
Like I said, I would rebind and test it on weapons you know can zero.. like a mosin, and then test it on a modded weapon that’s giving you trouble. If the new keybind still doesn’t work, well you know it’s the gun/scope and not the functionality.
Although, it wouldn’t be beneath Bohemia to introduce a bug like that. Since this is the first I’m hearing of it, check keybinds.
