The server admin can change the latency kick value. Standard it kicks at 200. Dayz is a little ichy about latency, i have set it to 500 on my server.
I use wifi 6 with super conditions and even with this i got kicked sometimes.
This can fix one of the reasons for latency kicking but there are causes that are out of the players control. Suggestion: Remove "the only way you can fix it" from your computer vocabulary. :-)
Hey Smith, I see that originally, you were already wired when you had the issue to begin with, so when you fixed the issue, did you remove something from the equation? i.e. was your PC on a switch and you bypassed that and ran CatV straight to the Router or Modem?
I am curious because I am having the same issue for the past week (see https://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/0/3109144584168532474/ ) and have a modem, then router, then switch. This setup ran perfectly for months until recently, so I was contemplating wiring straight to the modem and leaving everything else on the switch (router doesn't have any extra ports), and wonder if that's what you did to resolve your issue?
Cheers
