Car Tent Base

Anybody ever just make a gate in front of the entrance to a car tent? Was wondering if that is enough to secure the loot inside or are there other easy ways in?

now I don't know where you are playing so I don't know if any mods is involved, but on vanilla it would be worthless. Tents get easy ruined, collapses flat to ground, spilling loot.

I do play on a vanilla server so that is unfortunate to find out. I'm a noob to building and i finally have a decent amount of guns which i wanna be able to save as a backup in case of death.

for the purpose you state, I would just do stashes instead - use suitable container or craft one, fill with your stuff and bury under tree or somewhere that otherwise would hide disturbed dirt(like on a traintrack or so).

Update. I have made supply runs and almost have everything i need to construct a basic base. My car tent is now covered with camo net and will serve as my base until im ready to construct! Nice to know that i can bury crates also!
