Which type of Gasmask is better ?

Any ideas? First day playing after a year break.
Found the black mask and the whiTE MAsk, which one should i Throw away ?
Also, where do i find Filters? searched the entire Tisy base not a single one so far.

No idea which is better, but the filters are easy to get if you're up for making noise. You can loot them in medical areas sure, but the NBC suit zombies that spawn in the middle of poison zones often have them on their bodies as well. Just make noise and get them to come out, then kill them and get some from the bodies.

Filters last about 12 minutes in the gas zones if full but they can be replaced whilst inside the gas zones. The combat mask has a limited one life and once you've used it it's gone. It also takes up more inventory space and is lighter in colour making your head easier to shoot. But if it is all you find take it and use it to pur one if you get stuck in a dynamic event as you run out from the area incase you end up breathing the gas.
