Sooo.... Sick from chicken meat

Had no choice but to eat raw chicken meat or starve to death.

well it kept me alive long enough to find some real food. but now im sick from eating the chicken and its been a few hours since i got it. how does one cure sickness?

You need to find Hospital, and then, find some antibiotics in there.

if you're sure it's from raw chicken you catched salmonella and need charcoal tabs.
vitamins and antibiotics won't hurt either, though.

You need to fill apple and bottle to the full. As soon as you will fill it to full, sickness will go away in 2-5 minutes. Alternatively if you find a well you can drink until bottle becomes not only full but the upwards arrows stop appearing when you drink (but that will take a long time because when you get this sickness, salmonella, from eating raw food, you throw up if you eat or drink a lot of food at once, you need to eat and drink in very small increments, no more than two bites or two sips at a time and then wait until the upwards arrows dissapear and then do it again etc.) and then it will dissapear in 2-5 minutes. You also need to have full health and blood for that trick to work.

Oh yes i forgot vitamins - if you keep popping vitamins it will cure it in 5-10 minutes or less.

Btw for future - if you have vitamins you can pop a vitamin and eat raw food and drink from the ponds and rivers and streams and be cold however long you want, you wont get any sickness as long as you are popping vitamins.

yea, but rather eat raw chicken meat then human meat i guess lol.

but ive been learning more about the things to stay alive. such as making a hand drill to start fires. stone knifes, wood storage etc.

they only thing im actually worried about now. is being killed by and unknown source.

i died yesterday, no sound, no gun fire. just dropped dead and lost hours of play and gear.

i hear there are also players that can just open a file and click on my health to 0 and i die, fun.. or the stories of aim botters who can 360 no scope from the other side of the mountian 1km away.

im hesitant to push into the main land very far for those reason's.

until i get more gear stashed away in wood bo'x in the ground. just gonna play safe.

When I first played dayz and was getting to grips with the mechanics I played on a role-playing server, some of these have rules for no kill on sight. I highly recommend you do that. One such server is British survivors rp, install dzsa launcher (use Google) as that will install any necessary mods with zero stress. There is no whitelist on there and its pretty much a base building server.
