BEC Not connecting after update.

After 1.13 update. BEC is not connecting to my server. I get ( Not A Vaild Response Trying Again ! )

You have to specify a RconPort in your BEServer_x64.cfg

like:

RConPassword password
RestrictRCon 0
RconPort 2308

Big problems with Hosting mobs at the moment having a hidden BEServer_x64.cfg so you can't get to it to modify the settings and DayZ then just picks a random port every boot

The guy Mixxy above has answered this!!

go to your dayz server folder, then to battleye folder, find the BEServer_x46.cfg file.
Edit this with a notepad editor and add the lines if they are not present:
RConPassword password
RestrictRCon 0
RconPort xxxx

Ensure the port is NOT the same as the server itself nor the steam query port!
So example for a server on 2302
RConPassword MyPaSsWoRd1
RestrictRCon 0
RConport 2306

even with these manipulations, it does no work. Alwayz the same message: "server not found"... and impossible either to join the official or modded servers... even with the updated battleye.. THANK YOU ANYWAY ! with each update, always its lot of problems :(

Hang on so you cannot connect to servers?? That is very different to RCON not working!!! ???

Suggest you verify game files and delete the dayz folder under documents if that is the case!

Just checked mine and yeah the entry I use is 6 ports up from the server port....
so a 2302 server BE RCON Sits at 2308
correct line is as the top case sensitive!

Somewhere the server is reading a config file with a port # that isn't even in my config file. And not default port.
Server loads RconPasswod xxxxxxxx
RConRestrict x
RConPort xxxx

Got it. Had to go into the BEC folder,Config folder,and edit Config.cfg the default RCon port to the new port # but did not change the the comment on the line. Just changed the default port #. So watch your server load to see what RConport # is loading. Hope this helps.
