1.10 Server Wipe?

Will official and community servers be wiped for the 1.10 release? I haven't found any information concerning that.

No. There is basically never a wipe. There has not been a wipe since 1.0.

Not sure why people ask this every time. I guess because many modded servers wipe regularly.

most likely not on officials as there wasnt a wipe since 0.63 i believe. on community servers only that admin will know.

I asked this because the official servers I've played on have wiped my bases and gear. I wish BI would be more upfront about this so I won't waste my time so much.

what? there was no wipes on officials. unless u talk about pre 2018.

There are no wipes on Vanilla, you must be mistaken.

Your bases and gear where wpied by players man.
Couple weeks ago r squad raided a base.
We came with 3 cars..
Base was big with 3 watchtowers. We wiped it to the ground. We took all loot, barrels, planks, nails even logs...!!
There was nothing left except 2 logs witch we couldn't squeeze inside r inventory..
This took 30min.
And i still have character alive since dayz 1.0 so twas no wipe on officials.

Player's unfortunately like to grief base's and destroy everything a player has built. An DayZ has been this way since Day 1. I suggest you find a diff. server that does not allow base grieving or raiding as your going to find that DayZ will leave you broken heart'd many more times. The DayZ world is filled with NEGAN'S.

Modded Servers wipe fairly regularly for good reasons.

Whenever an official update hits, they wipe to ensure mods are still working with the latest update.

Mod authors also can do substantial updates as well which the owners feel necessitates a wipe.

They can also wipe on a set period of any number of reasons for server performance, clearing the database, and just keeping things interesting for their players.

Official servers however, do not wipe normally

There is no reason and nothing good about server wipe at all.
You can all explain yourself how great wipe is on moded servers, great admin, performance, etc.
But the truth is there was no wipe on officials since 1.0 and all servers work flawlessly..
Wipe is the most stupid, dumbest thing that can happen to any dayz server.
Building a base on a server for 4 weeks, knowing if it will survive it will get wipe anyway is simply saying nonsense.
Thats way my mind canot understand people who saying wipe for performance, wipe for good.

Hopefully no wipe required on community, always trying to avoid it if possible.
(last wipe on CA was at 1.07 if i remember right)

Community Public won't, so no. Community Modded yes, with a small chance of maybe.
