(there's still a chance to get sick, though)
I wouldn't trust Deaths..on this one.😉
He's completely correct though.
Fact check + additional information for the curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz-bmI8pHck
That's not...really true. I strongly suggest watching the video all the way through. You can simply go to a pump and max out your hydration to become completely immune to all of them, so long as you have full blood and health.
It's a completely intended mechanic. It's simply how the immunity statistic works. Again, if you watch the video, it will explain it in depth. I urge you to do so to educate yourself, rather than viewing it as an exploit.
That's what exploits are, intended mechanics that can be circumvented or, as the term suggest, exploited as easily as drinking 10 minutes at a well.
Don't look at it as if it's necessarily a negative thing, is not cheating and they are not random as a bug, after all nearly everyone used meat radiators before 1.10.
Maybe its time to remove vitamins pills from the game? Maybe replace them with different vitamins gained from eating different fruit and veg?
No one ever said DayZ made sense. I'm certainly not here to defend their design choices.
Also, be wary of using absolutes. This does nothing for Kuru or Chemical Poisoning.
If you're arguing that it's taking advantage of a flaw, or making full use / benefiting from such flaw, I can agree with that. However, that's not up to us to decide if these are intended mechanics, and therefore, making the determination that it's not desired behavior is ultimately beyond the scope of the discussion. We don't have enough information to clearly say one way or the other. It's simply the realm of opinion. I should have made that more clear upon my initial statement. In my opinion, this is intended behavior, and is therefore, in my mind, not exploiting anything in particular.
I agree, and I personally think that Multivitamins are a much bigger issue, and should offer a flat boost to immune system levels rather than basically making you untouchable.
