Can't bury drybag with shovel?

This is very frustrating I can't bury it anywhere and I'm about to die what am I doing wrong? I place the bag on the ground and look at it with a shovel in my hands and theres no option to bury.. I've tried like 10 different spots in the forest

The dry bag and the shovel have to be in good shape

As long as the shovel or bag aren’t ruined it will worn

it should work, doesnt matter if the drybag or shovel is badly damaged.
u play on a modded server? maybe they disabled that feature?

I think my shovel was just "worn" but bag was pristine.. maybe glitch? I wasted an hour trying to bury this thing and running back trying again after dying lol
